The Groton Water Department tested its drinking water supply system on Tuesday, September 13th at multiple locations and every water sample ”passed” or was negative E-Coli and Total Coliform.

If the water supply samples tested “positive” you would have been notified by a “reverse 911”call , an email blast to our customers and through other media source notifications available to the GWD.

The Groton water supply systems water is safe to drink.
