Groton Water Department Customer,
At the Board of Water Commissioner’s Rate Hearing held on December 21st, 2021, the Board voted to make the following changes to the quarterly Manganese Treatment Plant Capital Charge. These revised fees become effective January 1st, 2022.
| Residential $35/Quarter | Small Commercial $60/Quarter | High Water Usage $85/Quarter |
| All Single Family Residential Domestic Water Accounts including all Single-Family Faculty Housing | Commercial Domestic Water Accounts using less than 15 units per quarter during the past four quarters | Commercial Domestic Water Accounts using more than 15 units per quarter during the past four quarters, School Buildings, Dormitories, and Multi-Family properties with one meter |

The reason for this change is due to increased construction costs for the new treatment plant. Please note this fee is subject to change and will be reviewed annually by the Board of Water Commissioners.
