NOTICE TO ALL GROTON RESIDENCES:

There have been recent incidences of individuals posing as Water department employees attempting to gain access to private homes for illicit and/or illegal purposes. While these incidences have been reported in the towns of Wilmington, Dracut, Stoughton and Plainville, none have been reported in Groton.

The Groton Water Department always schedules appointments when requesting access to your basement for meter related matters. In cases of an Emergency such as a leak, we typically send two employees. Groton Water Department employees have identification badges and drive vehicles that clearly marked as official.
