Your water meter measures and records water usage in cubic feet (CF).
One Unit is equal to one hundred cubic feet (HCF).
Water billing is calculated by the “Unit”.
There are 7.48 gallons in one cubic foot of water, and 748 gallons in one unit of water. To calculate how many gallons you have consumed multiply your units consumed by 748.
Example if you consumed 36 units: 36 X 748 = 26,928 gallons consumed |
