One Unit is equal to one hundred cubic feet (HCF).

 

Water billing is calculated by the “Unit”.

 

There are 7.48 gallons in one cubic foot of water, and 748 gallons in one unit of water.

To calculate how many gallons you have consumed multiply your units consumed by 748.

 

Example if you consumed 36 units: 36 X 748 = 26,928 gallons consumed

In the middle of the bill you will notice:

The first number listed is your past meter reading in cubic feet (CF). 

The second number is your current meter reading in cubic feet (CF).

The third number is the total amount of water you have consumed in cubic feet (CF). 

The fourth number listed is the cost of the water consumed.
